Upon graduating UCLA in 2016, Milly immediately engaged in political campaign work, serving as Field Director for Congressman Darrel Issa's successful reelection campaign in San Diego.
Inspired by her Capitol Hill counterparts who had flown in to help reelect Congressman Issa, Milly then booked a one-way ticket to Washington, D.C. to pursue communications at the highest level of government in the U.S.
For 5 years, Milly worked on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. fine-tuning her sharp communications skills.
She started with U.S. Representative Scott Perry, an Apache-helicopter-flying Army man from Pennsylvania, famous amongst his Congressional colleagues for his unwavering principles.
She then joined U.S. House Committee on Energy and Commerce, working in the Comms Shop, managing Digital Communications for the prestigious committee.
From there she moved to the U.S. Senate, joining the communications team for Senator Bill Cassidy of Louisiana. A doctor, he is the expert in healthcare legislation in the Senate.
Finally, Milly served as Communications Director for U.S. Representative Greg Pence of Indiana. She led strategic communications operations for the Congressman, managing the press team and writing nationally published content.
Home was beckoning! Milly recently moved back to San Diego, where she started her communications company Milly Media LLC. From leading the Larry Turner for San Diego Mayor campaign, to managing the marketing for the top-selling real estate group in La Mesa, Lothian Realty Group, Milly Media is trusted to communicate with creativity and D.C.-tested efficacy.
